Generally, steel pipes used in harsh environments suffer from severe corrosion, which significantly shortens their service life. On the other hand, 3PE-coated steel pipes have a much longer service life—typically around 30 to 50 years. Proper installation and usage can further reduce maintenance costs for pipeline networks. Additionally, these pipelines can be equipped with alarm systems that actively detect leaks, accurately pinpoint the location of common faults, and trigger automatic alarms.
The base materials for 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes include seamless, spiral-welded, and straight-seam types. They can be categorized into two main types: inner lining and outer wall. The inner-lining anti-corrosion methods primarily include cement mortar fabric-coated steel pipes, which are widely used and cost-effective, as well as cement mortar fabric-coated steel pipes with a cement mortar anti-corrosion layer—both of which provide effective corrosion protection for pipelines.
3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes are also suitable for pipelines used to convey waste residues and return water in the process of thermal power plants. They are highly applicable to water supply pipelines for sprinkler fire suppression systems. These pipes serve as cable protection conduits for power, telecommunications, highways, and other infrastructure projects. They are ideal for water supply systems in high-rise buildings, heating networks, municipal water supply projects, gas transmission, and underground water pipelines. They are also used in oil pipelines, chemical industries, textile dyeing, and other sectors—making them perfect for transporting corrosive media, as well as for sewage treatment and discharge pipelines, sewer systems, and anti-corrosion projects for biological ponds. Additionally, they are suitable for agricultural irrigation pipelines, deep-well pipelines, and drainage networks.
