TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe, fully known as internally fused epoxy and externally 3PE-coated anti-corrosion pipeline, uses a steel pipe as its base material. The outer wall is coated with a three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion layer, while the inner wall is protected by a hot-melt epoxy resin powder. At high temperatures, this process forms a steel-plastic alloy layer. It is commonly referred to as TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe.

TPEP The fully coated anti-corrosion steel pipe, officially known as the internal fusion epoxy and external 3PE anti-corrosion pipeline, uses a steel pipe as its base material. Its outer wall is protected by a three-layer polyethylene coating, while the inner wall is protected by a hot-melt epoxy resin powder. At high temperatures, this process forms a steel-plastic alloy layer. It is commonly referred to as TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe.

The outer wall of the TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe is coated with a hot-melt adhesive winding process, forming a three-layer anti-corrosion coating consisting of an underlying epoxy powder, an intermediate adhesive, and an outer polyethylene layer. The inner wall is protected by a hot-sprayed epoxy powder coating. After the steel pipe is heated to a high temperature, the powder is evenly applied to the pipe surface. As a result, this coating combines the advantages of both epoxy powder (FBE) coatings and polyethylene coatings. It can be widely used in various anti-corrosion engineering applications.

  Product performance:

Energy-saving and consumption-reducing, (large water supply volume, small head loss), Low overall cost, Highly adaptable, maintenance-free and repair-free.

  1. Real-world application case: In the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in Tengzhou, Shandong Province, the customer replaced DN1400 ductile iron pipes with our company’s DN1200 diameter TPEP-coated steel pipes, and the water flow exceeded the required specifications.

Hydraulic comparison conclusion: TPEP-coated steel pipes reduce the loss of ductile iron pipe fittings by 48%. Using TPEP-coated steel pipes also saves on the power and electricity consumption of pumps and motors, significantly lowering operating costs.

  2. Long service life, one-time investment, lifetime maintenance-free operation, and significant cost advantages throughout the entire lifecycle: pipeline + construction + operation + maintenance.
