3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes are suitable for various working environments.   The base materials for 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes include seamless steel pipes, spiral steel pipes, and straight-seam steel pipes. The three-layer polyethylene (3PE) anti-corrosion coating—thanks to its excellent corrosion resistance, water permeability, air permeability, and mechanical properties—has been widely adopted in the petroleum pipeline industry. Its key features include high mechanical strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and cold resistance. It can be used at moderate temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius and is well-suited for use in cold regions. Therefore, the 3PE anti-corrosion coating is an ideal external anti-corrosion layer for buried pipelines. According to inspections conducted by authoritative agencies, buried pipelines coated with the 3PE anti-corrosion technology can have a service life of up to 50 years.
