8710 anti-corrosion steel pipes, classified by welding method, include spiral-welded steel pipes and straight-welded steel pipes. Spiral-welded steel pipes are further divided into automatically submerged arc-welded steel pipes and high-frequency welded steel pipes. Straight-welded steel pipes, in turn, are categorized into ordinary straight-welded steel pipes and stainless steel welded pipes. Seamless steel pipes, based on their manufacturing process, are divided into hot-rolled pipes and cold-rolled pipes, with precision levels ranging from standard to high-grade.
8710 Anti-corrosion steel pipe Welded steel pipes are classified into spiral-welded pipes and straight-welded pipes. Spiral-welded pipes are further divided into automatically submerged arc-welded pipes and high-frequency welded pipes. Straight-welded pipes, in turn, are categorized into ordinary straight-welded pipes and stainless steel welded pipes. Seamless steel pipes, according to their manufacturing method, are divided into hot-rolled pipes and cold-rolled pipes; their precision is available in two grades: standard and high-grade.
The nominal diameter of cold-rolled pipes is 200 mm, while the nominal diameter of hot-rolled pipes is 600 mm. There are also seamless steel pipes made of stainless steel. Stainless steel seamless pipes are divided into two types: hot-rolled and hot-extruded stainless steel seamless pipes, and cold-rolled stainless steel seamless pipes. As for those without a protective coating, they are commonly referred to as ungalvanized steel pipes.
Texture-type steel pipes primarily refer to stainless steel seamless pipes and stainless steel welded pipes. In outdoor medium- and large-diameter pipeline water supply systems, these pipes have not been widely adopted due to factors such as cost and connection methods. As for protective-layer types, there are currently metallic protective-layer types and non-metallic protective-layer types. Among the metallic protective-layer types, commonly used ones include surface-plated protective layers and surface-compressed protective layers.
Among externally coated protective layers, galvanized pipes are commonly used. Galvanized pipes come in two types: cold-galvanized and hot-galvanized. Hot-galvanized pipes are still widely used today because their protective layer is dense and uniform, exhibits strong adhesion, and offers good stability. As for seamless steel pipes, their pressure-bearing capacity varies depending on the wall thickness, which differs according to various grades and materials.
