3. On the basis of ensuring adequate compaction by the roller, select rollers with lower hardness whenever possible and maintain a consistently stable roller pressure. To ensure stable roller pressure, a small air reservoir has been added to the roller, further reducing interference from other pneumatic equipment on the roller pressure.
4. Enhance the water-cooling effect. To ensure rapid hardening of the anti-corrosion coating as it enters the water-drenching section and to reduce uneven thickness of the coating caused by roller-induced friction and compression—particularly for large-diameter, thick-walled 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes with slower heat loss— in addition to ensuring that the outer surface of the anti-corrosion pipe is cooled by circulating water, an internal cooling device has also been installed inside the pipe. This internal cooling system assists the external cooling water in rapidly lowering the pipe’s temperature, effectively speeding up the hardening process of the anti-corrosion coating and reducing variations in coating thickness.
