1. Visual Inspection: Before processing, skilled workers shall conduct a visual analysis of each steel pipe and inspect them one by one. If a steel pipe exhibits severe mechanical damage, scale, cracks, dents, or other defects, it shall be deemed a nonconforming product and must be returned. When examining the threaded pipe ends, if any flattening is found at the pipe end, it must be corrected promptly. Pipes that cannot be corrected should be treated as scrap products.

You know 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe the production method? Next, let me briefly introduce it to you!

  2. For rust removal of pipe fittings, the steel pipes intended for corrosion treatment are transported to the upper platform of the operation line and subjected to flame heating to remove moisture, oil stains, and other impurities from their outer surfaces. The temperature is carefully controlled between 40 and 60 degrees Celsius. Next, the steel pipes are treated with the PW-380 steel pipe shot blasting machine to remove rust. Following this, the pipes undergo further processing to thoroughly eliminate rust, oil stains, oxide scale, and other contaminants; additionally, any areas that fail to meet quality standards are carefully sanded down.

  3. After polishing, the outer surface of the steel pipe should be subjected to a secondary treatment using a dust removal device to eliminate any residual rust and dust remaining on the pipe. Then, epoxy powder coating must be applied within 4 hours.

  4. Preheat the steel pipe. Before applying the epoxy powder coating, a preheating treatment should be carried out. Select an appropriate temperature based on the pipe diameter and feed rate of the steel pipe; however, be careful not to exceed 275 degrees.

  5. Apply the adhesive and wrap with polyethylene tape; during the curing process of the epoxy powder, apply the adhesive. When performing the lateral wrapping operation, ensure that the polyethylene layer remains intact, and thoroughly roll and compact both the overlapping areas of the polyethylene and the polyethylene on either side of the weld seam.

  6. After the anti-corrosion coating of the steel pipe has been completed, it should be cooled and properly fixed. The surface of the anti-corrosion coating on 3PE-coated steel pipes should be cooled using a circulating water spray chamber.

  7. Make a cut leaving the pipe end intact, cool the anti-corrosion coating of the steel pipe with cooling water, and leave a length of 100–120 mm at the pipe end as specified.

  8. Grind the pipe end and use a wire brush to treat the pipe end.
