What is 8710 anti-corrosion coating?
Release time:
2020-12-02
IPN8710 anti-corrosion coating is a two-component system. Component A, the base coating, consists of resin and an initiator; component B, the curing agent, comprises reactive monomers and a catalyst. The coating forms a network with strong adhesion and excellent flexibility, and it is unaffected by corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and salts. Utilizing interpenetrating networks to enhance polymer performance represents a novel blending technology.
One, Product Overview
IPN8710 anti-corrosion coating is a two-component system. Component A, the base coating, consists of resin and an initiator; Component B, the curing agent, comprises reactive monomers and a catalyst. The coating forms a network with strong adhesion and excellent flexibility, and it is unaffected by corrosive media such as acids, bases, and salts. Utilizing the interpenetrating network structure to enhance polymer performance represents a novel blending technology.
II. Product Features
1. The coating is fully cured and does not contaminate drinking water. This coating is resistant to water, oil, and chemical media, and boasts excellent anti-rust performance. 2. The coating exhibits strong adhesion to materials such as metal, ceramics, and concrete; it has high hardness, good flexibility, impact resistance, and outstanding abrasion resistance. 3. The coating has a high solid content, allowing for the application of a thick layer in a single coat. This coating is two-component and can cure even at low temperatures as low as -10°C, making on-site application simple and convenient.

Three, Construction Guide
1. Before applying the 8710 anti-corrosion coating, the metal surface must be thoroughly cleaned to remove rust, oil stains, and other contaminants. The surface should be smooth and free of burrs. If the surface is concrete, it must be free of dust, grease, moisture, and alkaline substances. After cleaning, a primer should be applied to the surface within 24 hours to prevent re-corrosion. 2. Coating Preparation: Before use, thoroughly stir Component A and then add the other components. Mix them according to a weight ratio of A:B = 11:1. Stir well until homogeneous, allow to cure for 10–20 minutes, and then begin painting. The prepared coating should be used up within 5 hours. 3. Application Process for 8710 Anti-Corrosion Coating: The coating can be applied by conventional spray, high-pressure airless spray, or brush application. If the paint film has fully cured, it should be roughened before applying the next coat. Heavy-duty primer—primer—topcoat—topcoat—topcoat 1.0 ≥250
Four, Precautions
The IPN8710 anti-corrosion coating should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area, kept in a cool place away from sources of ignition. It is not advisable to carry out construction when the ambient temperature falls below minus 10 degrees Celsius or rises above 40 degrees Celsius, or when the relative humidity exceeds 80 percent. Coating equipment should be delivered only after the anti-corrosion layer has fully cured (typically 5 to 7 days in summer and 7 to 10 days in winter). Un-cured anti-corrosion coatings must be protected from rainwater infiltration. The shelf life of the IPN8710 anti-corrosion coating product is one year. If sediment is observed in the container during storage, simply stir it thoroughly before use. Products that have exceeded their shelf life can be tested according to the indicators listed in the table; those meeting the requirements may continue to be used.
