Product Description
The production and processing range for bendable polyethylene heat-shrinkable anti-corrosion tapes is φDN80 to ΦDN1400.
The anti-corrosion heat-shrinkable sleeve for bent pipes is a new type of corrosion-resistant material for steel pipe welds, featuring excellent performance and ease of operation. It consists of a two-layer structure: a base material and a hot-melt adhesive layer. The base material is a plastic sleeve (sheet) made from polyethylene resin through extrusion, radiation crosslinking, and stretching. The hot-melt adhesive is a special adhesive that remains solid at room temperature but becomes molten and fluid when heated, allowing it to be applied onto the base material. It exhibits strong adhesion to both metals and plastics. Typically, the external anti-corrosion coating for bent pipes adopts a three-layer structure (also known as three-layer PE coating). The innermost layer in contact with the bent pipe is an anti-corrosion primer; the middle layer is the hot-melt adhesive; and the outermost layer is crosslinked polyethylene. In some cases, the external anti-corrosion coating for steel pipes may consist of only two layers (two-layer PE coating), where the innermost layer in contact with the steel pipe is a sealing hot-melt adhesive, and the outermost layer is crosslinked polyethylene. For technical requirements, refer to the petroleum and natural gas industry standard GB/T 23257-2017.
